La Dolce Vita
Cut to a year later, Chris meets a barista named Mia at work. Chris was stretching out pizza dough and Mia made coffee across the hall. It was meant to be! Chris’ excitement for his new business venture was contagious and Mia joined his journey. But wait! Mia also needs some business knowledge, so off she goes to college. During this time Mia and Chris also received their gelato chef certificates in New York city and Toronto.
Chris and Mia started La Dolce Vita because of the wonderful memories they had as children, going to the cold treat parlours and grabbing some refreshing gelato. They wanted to bring those memories to the families and friends of Oakville and beyond. Through educating themselves with Italian pastry chefs, years of practice, and the love of connection, Mia and Chris have learned to create a memorable experience for everyone! Chris and Mia couldn’t have done it without their loving family, the wonderful staff, and great customers.
Through the years La Dolce Vita has won consecutive awards for the best ice cream/gelato and milkshakes in Oakville.
